Hi anh Hoang,

Below are steps to install Lac Viet dictionary, Lac Viet Jaws script and
Vietnamese reading scripts.
  1. Installing Sao Mai Vietnamese Sapi5 speech engine
 You can go to
www.saomaicenter.info
and download Sao Mai NetTalk, a web browser and install on your computer. It
should automatically install the Vietnamese speech engine for you. Otherwise,
you can install the Vietnamese speech engine packaged by some other guys. To
check the Vietnamese engine installed successfully, switch to Sapi5 by pressing
Ctrl+Insert+s and select Sapi5 and press enter. Activate the Voices menu item
of Jaws -> Global Adjustment and check to see if following voices work: Minh
Du (for reading Unicode text), Thanh Vi (for reading VNI-times text) and Thu An
(for TCVN text). such voices are present and read aloud as selected, that's
done. For some reasons that you cannot install SAPI5 voices, you need to fix
this by go to Microsoft website to download the Speech development Kit to
update some dll files for handling this. I got this problem with Win2000.
2. Installing Vietnamese reading Jaws script:
For Jaws 7.0, you can download the script from
www.saomaicenter.info
and run the .exe file to install the script. For your convenience, click the
link below to download the sealf-install Vietnamese reading scrip:
http://www.saomaicenter.info/uploads/jaws_script/JFW70-VNReading.exe
Note, you should run Jaws 70 while installing this file. To check the script
installed successfully or not, unloading Jaws and start it again, press
Alt+Shift+v
for switch to read Vietnamese, Alt+Shift+e to switch back to read English.
Note, to read Vietnamese, you need to have Vietnamese speech engine installed
in the first step.
For any Jaws (from Jaws 6.x...): this way requires you a little bit on-hand
work.
Step 1: Download this file and unzip it to a folder:
http://www.saomaicenter.info/uploads/jaws_script/VNReading10.zip
Step 2: Copy all files unzipped, go to Jaws xxx(version number) on start menu
-> Explore Settings -> Explore My Settings and press enter. Then paste all
copied files to this folder.
Step 3: Press Insert+0 to run Script Manager. In the script manager window,
press Ctrl+shift+d to open the Default script file. Arrow down to the section
contains lines start with USE words such as:

use "YIMHelper.jsb"; Yahoo instant messenger

Then insert a blank line and insert the following line:

use "VN_Reading.jsb"

After that, press Ctrl+s to compile and save the file.
Step 4: Inside the Script manager window, open Default.jkm file by pressing
Alt+f to menu file, activate menu item Open Share File. Press tab to File Type
and select Keymap files. Shift+tab to the list of files and select the file
Default.jkm and press enter to open it. Arrow down to the line [Common Keys]
and insert a blank line below this line. Then paste the following line:

Alt+Shift+v=SwitchToVietnameseUnicode

Alt+Shift+e=SwitchToEloq

Now, press ctrl+s to save the file and close the script manager.

Now you can check if the Vietnamese script is installed successfully or not by
pressing Alt+Shift+v for reading Vietnamese and Alt+shift+e for reading
English.

3. Installing Lac Viet Dictionary:

Download the Lac Viet dic from
http://www.saomaicenter.info/uploads/soft/mtd2002.rar

Unrar it and run the file mtd2002.exe to setup. You can find the serial number
in the file "Serial.txt". After finishing the installation, it requires you
to restart the computer. After restart, you go to the unrar folder and copy the
folder Data and go to c:\Program Files\MTD2002 and paste it. You can replace
all files in this Data folder. Now you can open Lac Viet dictionary from the
start menu with the shortcut like MTD-EVA... If it asks for the data path,
browse it to the Data folder you just copied to.

Step 4. Installing Jaws script for Lac Viet:

Download the scrip file from
http://www.saomaicenter.info/uploads/jaws_script/MTD2002JScript.zip

Unzip the file and copy all files and paste to Jaws ENU folder (by go to Jaws
xxx menu on the Start menu -> Explore Settings -> Explore My Settings and
press enter).

If on your computer has some favorite English sapi5 voices, you can select it
to read in Lac Viet dictionary by pressing Ctrl+insert+s and select Sapi5.
Then activate Voices -> Global adjustment dialogue box and under Persons tab
item, select the English voice you like.

Now, it is done. open the Lac Viet dictionary to check the script good or not
and give me comments.

Tip: press Ctrl+shift+d to select different dictionaries.

Good luck

Phuc
