[Klamath County Fire Defense Board] FW: Radio narrow band reprogramming

Chiefs and others, I'm forwarding an information request from Day Wireless
regarding the switch to Narrow Band.

If you would determine what your agency needs are by compiling the
information he's requested that will aid in the process.

Please send the information to him:

Subject: Radio narrow band reprogramming

Good morning Keith.
I am trying to compile an inventory of radio assets that will require
reprogramming for the narrow band cutover scheduled for August of this year.
To have an accurate and effective implementation plan, we need to know from
each user agency what type and how many radio assets they have that need to
be reprogrammed, and whether the equipment can be in a centralized location
( in their area) or will be dispersed.
We also need to know if the agency can, or will be, doing their own
programming, or if they have another source for having the equipment
reprogrammed.
Labor quotes for reprogramming can be provided to those agencies requesting
them once a complete list of equipment is compiled.

I have attached a generic worksheet that can be used as a basic inventory
gathering form.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or considerations.

Thank you,
Mike Clark
