Mike McCartney & Wings (a/k/a "McGear") is the only solo Mike McCartney album. It was on CD from Rhino, and vinyl from WB. There are many nice songs on it. Another good one to pick up from that era is Holly Days by Denny Laine & Wings (credited, of course, to Denny Laine) - MPL/Capitol on vinyl; no official CD release but it was bootlegged. That was a very productive time for Paul, releasing several singles and an occasional album under these types of names and other pseudonyms. (Suzie and the Red Stripes; Country Hams; Thrillington). It's no wonder so many thought Klaatu was a Beatles project when you consider how many subliminal signals Paul was sending. I used to scan the singles every week at the local record stores, looking for the MPL logo or the McCartney name. Keep in mind that Mike was also a member of Scaffold, and that group had several releases. Paul's participation on those albums was quite limited, though - Scaffold stood up on its own. If you really want to round out the set, consider the Linda McCartney album "Wide Prairie."
