        Weird.  I left KisMac running over night.  Now it's taking up 
about 10% CPU, and thinks it's still scanning, but the number in the 
bottom left-hand corner of the window shows that it's not hopping 
channels and there is no data update in the display.

        Hitting "Cancel" and then "Scan" again, KisMac starts right back 
up again, and the strip chart "Traffic" display would seem to 
indicate that it's been scanning just fine all this time.
