[kismac] is XCode 2.2 really required?

Just a query regarding the newly updated compile.command: does it really need to require XCode 2.2? I have XCode 2.1, and although I particularly relish the thought of downloading 834Mb over dial-up, so far I've refrained from doing so and have had no troubles at all building the latest revision using XCode 2.1 (just in XCode - fortunately I'd already run the old compile.command that didn't reject my XCode version prior to the last update).

My question is: since XCode 2.1 appears to build the current release just fine, is there a reason why compile.command now requires 2.2?
