well, it seems like i will need some new hardware to take advantage of kismac.
i poked around the web a little, and found this:

expensive, definitely, but kind of what i was envisioning.. slide the pc card in, stick the antenna on the back of the laptop and hack away.
does anyone have other hardware recommendations? i'm partial to keeping the whole setup small (except for the antenna, i guess)
