Thank you JIm for your reply, i will update the little MAC address
customization Wiki accordingly. Just to make sure we are talking about
a Prism2 card, runiing under 10.3.3 without any changes applied to the
kernel.
As I understand it, an Orinoco card is *not* PRISM 2, so I will not be
including Jim's experience in the PRISM 2 guide that I am writing. However,
I agree that Jim's experience is relevant to the Mac customization wiki
page.
Thank you JavaNut too for your post, i am sure it will help users in
the future as it is very complete. Any news about "Modrak" SourceForge
driver patch for Panther, did you get it to work?
I am able to use Kismac and scan for Networks under Tiger with the Modrak
patch and a PRISM based card. Mac Address changing did not work for me,
even though Modrak said it would when the patch was posted. Did anyone get
the Mac address changing to work?
