[kismac] PrimsGT card : KisMAC cannot instantiate driver

I have a Netgear WG511, identified as an Intersil ISL3890 card that
works fine with GTDriver and allows MAC address customization.
Problems occur when I try KisMAC to scan with the Netgear card, I get
the message "Could not Instantiate Driver: KisMAC was able to load the
driver backend for PrismGT based Card, but it was unable to create an
interface." Restarting and reinstall did not help. Anybody had success
using PrismGT cards with KisMAC?
Note for ebay sniffers: WG511 cards with Serial Number starting with
WG51 are based on PrimsGT chipsets
(http://prism54.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1096&highlight=wg511+serial
and http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/wg511.asp). Other model may
not. Worked for me.
