Okay, the binary I have appears to be executing. I appreciate
the now-immediate feedback when clicking on "Scan" and getting the
barber pole without delay. It seems minor, but with regards to the
UI, that's a big improvement -- now you know the system is doing
something and not locked-up, etc..... I also appreciate that I now
have the option of whether or not the scripts are installed setuid.
However, when KisMac detects that the viha driver is being loaded
and I click on the "Don't Bother Me!" button, I would hope that it
would actually do what I requested and not bother me again with that
dialog box -- at least not until the program has been quit and then
restarted.
I tried multiple retries for loading the various drivers for the
various cards (Viha, MacJack, & AiroJack), and nothing seems to have
worked. I think the console.log explains why the MacJack & AiroJack
drivers didn't load (appears to be a path problem or incorrect
arguments being used), but I can't see why the Viha driver didn't
load.
I did wind up with yet another complete system lock-up, forcing
me to power-off the machine. This is getting painful.
Anyway, see the attached logs for more info.
