Thanks to all for suggestions and input. It's all greatly appreciated. I found a good deal on the Microsoft MN-510 for $37.95 (including shipping!)

The added bonus for me, is that I can hook it up to my Windows based desktop machine as well (easy to 'hotswap' with USB). I'll let you guys know how it goes. I should get it sometime next week.
