[kismac] Bug report 0.04b

Hi Michael,
curiously I immediately installed 4b (did you intentionally change
the alpha to the beta status, or had you rather increased to 0.05a
status? Me thinks it is worth at least a beta status).
IF the green light on the orinoco card is an indicator for the
drivers being unloaded: the drivers don't unload. Neither is Kismac
able to load the drivers the second time you start the program. So
you can only start up once and scan.
I'll try and see if it helps to pop the card out (switch of power
first) and in again, then startup kismac. YES, that at least does no
longer require a restart.
Also, when having scanned (which seems to be successfully updating)
for the first time, then cancel scanning and start scanning again,
nothing is updated.
Also, putting kismac in the background (moving to Eudora for typing
this bug report) and switching kismac to the foreground again, seems
to be devastating for continuous scanning.
So it seems as if the bug is partially removed. I'll do some
extensive testing the oncoming hours. I'll go for a walk in the park
(known to have multiple base stations ;-) now.
BTW. the 'packets, bytes or signal' and the time (15,30 secs, 1 or 5
mins) is not sticking in between sessions. Annoying :-)
Cheers, Ard
