Hi,
As I already (at least I think ?! :) ) posted, here on white MacBook with atheros 5424, kismac *is* capturing data, if a tcpdump is launched (eg sudo tcpdump -i en1), after starting capture. It seems that the interface does not goes in promiscuous mode otherwise (and thus capture only beacon and broadcasts)
