this is probably since you have an american firmware. these channels 
are not allowed over there. i ll put out a new version of kismac 
tonight. it will fix some bugs, and the macjack driver should now tell 
the firmware revision upon startup (in system.log). but i'll announce 
it later.
btw: marios lucent silver card has a firmware version of 6.16
