Ard, can you take a look, which version you have?

this was do a problem with the resetting in the old driver. the linux 
guys had this problem too.

i am currently looking for some other guys in my area, who have orinoco 
cards, but i have no idea if there are any. especially since not every 
card produces this crashes. marios 11 and 2 mbit lucent cards are both 
working perfectly....
