is there still no possibility to edit the MAC address of Airport
cards ?
Not with the Apple drivers, no.
we discussed this a while ago on the list. someone could use the
sourceforge wireless driver and some components of the viha driver to
write a new driver, which could do that, but no one had time.
is there an alternative, i mean, does it work with some linux dist.
on my pismo g3 ?
Dunno. Does the Airport driver in your Linux distribution allow for
things like changing the MAC address?
MAC spoofing does worked with debian and yellowdog, when i tried it. if
it is broken now it should be no problem to repair it.
what did all others do ?
at least they did not spoof, that is all i can tell you about it ;)
