sorry that i did not respond in the first place, but i was very busy.
so what i can tell you is kismac, should still be working, however
there might be problems, because kismac tries to unload those
extensions. you can load the viha driver by yourself: kextload
/Library/Frameworks/WiFi.framework/Resources/WLanDriver.kext should do
it. if you start kismac afterwards, and it still does not work write me
a mail ;-).
btw. regarding your hack. do you know whether the new netgear cards
work? and did you try to disassemble the driver? rather
interesting..... it is a complete hostap like driver...
