  We are located in Northern VA, outside DC.  I have just accepted a preschool 
director position for a new preschool.  We will be an inslusion program.  We 
will have 30% special needs to include autism spectrum disorders. 
   
  Personally, I have a son that is on the autism spectrum.  He is in a typical 
kindergarten classroom.  But, to get aba, parents have to do it privately here. 
 The schools will not provide it (yet?).

include children with autism within their pre-school/kindergarten programs.  I 
work in a public school and we have a program for our children with autism 
which utilizes ABA techniques within the full day with the student attending 
the preschool program and receiving one on one specialized programs the other 
half of the day.  I would be interested how others address this particular 
special need.
