Kindersite Listserv and Newsletter

Last month I moved the Kindersite Newsletter on to the ‘Freelists Service’.
Immediately a discussion started that resulted in many emails, for which I
apologize. I halted the discussion as the Kindersite Newsletter is only for
occasional announcements. For the many of you who would like to partake in
open moderated discussions I have made a second listserv, you can join it
at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/kindersite/

Kindersite Leaflets/Flyers

Many times I have been asked for leaflets/flyers that can be given out to
students or posted on to notice boards, at long last this has been done. I
have made two versions, one with a colored background and one with a plain
background that can be printed on colored paper (if required). You can
download the flyers (a PDF file) from http://www.kindersite.org/Flyer.html I
would like to translate the flyers in to additional languages and any
volunteers who can translate at a professional level, would be much
appreciated, just write to me.

New Content

I have now added 24 new items of content to the 'Children's Directory'
Please look out for them. You may have also noticed that I have added some voice navigation to the Kindersite and I would like to thank the children (including my daughters) who helped.

Survey

Many thanks to the hundreds of Kindersite users who completed the survey, it
is still available on the Kindersite, it is never too late. The data is
still being analyzed but within the next weeks I hope to post a report on to
the Kindersite.

Stockholm Challenge

As you may have noticed, the Kindersite has won through to the final round
of the prestigious Stockholm Challenge, this week (the 11th to be precise)
the winners will be announced. I see this as a shared recognition of the
Kindersite team, and all of our users who have believed in and helped the
Kindersite, so congratulations to you.

As always, I conclude by asking if you can place a link to the Kindersite on
any websites you are connected to.

Thank you and enjoy the Kindersite.
