That sounds great guys. My life has been crazy with switching jobs, and Christmas, but there are all these new cachers I want to meet. I glad you are moving forward on this. Time and date has been approved by CinC, let me know what I can do.

Hi Laura
Binrat and myself (Geogranny) were thinking of a lunch time event in Kingston around the 24th of February. This would be an excellent opportunity for you to come out to meet and exchange information with other cachers. We chose lunch time so new cachers would be able to venture out with a more experienced cacher in the afternoon if they so wished. Plans are tentative at the moment but if there is interest in an event at this time we will go ahead. The only venue we can think of to hold such an event is Doffer's http://www.kinwu.com/ but we are open to any suggestions as to time, place etc. Graeme, you requested an event, is this date and time convenient for you? Dear Bob
I too just got the Canadian topo maps for Christmas along with my
    first GPS.
I am a newbie to this geocaching activity so I would like to be
included in the mailings and also be in contact with people who
would permit me to develop some form of learning curve.
Is there any reputable course you can take in this area to become
a qualified GPS instructor or be involved with a course of some
kind to the dynamics of this wonderfully fun and intriguing pastime?
Please get back to me and if I have somehow sent a global message,
please forgive me....I have a "blonde" disability! LOL LOL :>)
    Sincerely,
    Laura Forkes
PS At the present time I have been given for Christmas a GARMIN
GPSMAP 76CS PLUS. JUST a F.Y.I. as far as GPS units go.

I don't know how many of you keep an eye on the new macros
that come available for GSAK , but there is a new version of a
macro worth checking out. myGME v2 - GSAK Google Maps Export will make all the caches
you have currently displayed in GSAK on Google Maps. What is
even better is that you can easily switch from Google Maps to
Canadian topo maps. It works very well. Eventhough I got TOPO
Canada for Christmas, I think this will might be very useful.
