Subject: [Innovative-Teaching] ITN: Top Educator Conferences <February 9, 2003>
Go to http://surfaquarium.com/newsletter/conferences.htm for the
html version of this week's newsletter:
Each year educators spend millions of dollars on conferences and
conventions that offer all kinds of professional development
opportunities. In many cases teachers are limited to one chance to
attend a conference per year. And we all know that feeling when we
walk away from that one conference opportunity feeling that we
missed out on what we had wanted. For these reasons, I have put
together this top twelve list of educator conferences which are sure
to deliver. These are the best in their respective fields, including
a special emphasis in instructional technology.
Want a great online resource for looking up conferences around the
world? Check out T.H.E. Journal's 2003-2004 Conference Calendar at
http://www.theconferencecalendar.com/ It's fully searchable and
loaded with every kind of conference imaginable. Thanks to Jerry B
for his recommendations.
