Airport manager leaving for Leesburg, Va.,  position 
HICKORY 
Tim Deike, manager of Hickory's airport since May 2003, is leaving the post  
Feb. 17 to become director of Leesburg Executive Airport in Virginia. Deike's  
departure closely follows the most recent loss of commercial flights at 
Hickory  Regional Airport. Delta service to Atlanta ended last month after less 
than a  year in Hickory.An interim airport manager will be named in the next 
few 
weeks,  according to a City of Hickory press release. -- Hannah  Mitchell
