Dear Leesburg Pilot -
As you know from my previous e-mail, Garmin has just released a new
hand-held color GPS for Aviation, Automotive & Marine usage. The new GPS296
combines
all of the popular features found in previous units plus a brilliant,
sunlight-readable, 256-color TFT display.
But color is just the beginning! A new terrain mapping & altering feature
offers a TAWS-like display of terrain & obstacles & provides pop-up warnings
for proximity conflicts.
The optional Automotive Navigation Accessory pack offers turn-by-turn road
guidance with voice prompts.
The rechargeable lithium-ion battery offers dramatically improved battery
life & quickly recharges from the included cigarette lighter adaptor or AC
adaptor.
All these features, combined with Garmin's celebrated ease-of-use, makes the
GPS296 the new flagship in Garmin's line of portable innovations.
MSRP is $1795.00 for the GPS & $349.98 for the Automotive Accessory Pack.
However, for a limited time, The "LeesburgPilots.com" special price is going
to
be $1495.00 & $275.00 respectively.
I will let you know for SURE in a few days. Get your checks "ready". I
want to get the order in BEFORE Sun-N-Fun so we are not a few thousand back in
line for shipping.
How to order:
1. If you have not done so, e-mail me and tell me if you want the GPS only
or GPS and Auto Accessory Pack.

3. Wait for an "action e-mail" from me telling you to get me your check. (I
will need all checks in hand by Friday, April 9, 2004.
4. Wait on Garmin to make them and get them to me.
5. Wait for call/e-mail from me arranginf pick-up/deliver/meeting place
6. Smile because you will have one of the best portable GPS units in the
world.
