As many of you know, Garmin has a brand new portable GPS out on the market. 
The Garmin GPSMAP 196. The suggested retail price is $1049.00. You can see 
them in ad's for 999.99 plus shipping, etc. 

I am working to make them available one time to anyone on the 
LeesburgPilots.com e-mail list for $875.00. (MD residents might haver to pay 
sales tax... I am not sure yet) To do this, I will need 10 people to want the 
commit to buying units and they will need to prepay via check when the time 
comes.  

I am not taking orders yet, I am just trying to see if we can make the 10 
unit mark. Reply via e-mail if you are interested in one.  

First Come, First Served.  If I get 10 people, you can expect to pay shortly 
thereafter and get your unit 2-3 weeks after that.
