Lots of you have asked about what we've planned to commemorate  Tom's
passing.  The death notice will appear in tomorrow's  Washington Post. 
Here's what we've scheduled:

Saturday, February  17:  Visitation hours at Money & King funeral home,
in Vienna,  2-4 PM.  Located at corner of Rt. 123 and Lawyers Rd.

Sunday,  February 18:  Memorial service and reception at the Atrium at  
Meadowlark Botanical Gardens on Beulah Road in Vienna, 2  PM.  (Take
Beulah Road off Rt. 7, 2 miles to park entrance on  right.)

Wednesday, March 21:  Funeral with full military honors  at Arlington
National Cemetery.  Those attending should arrive at  the Fort Myer Old 
Post Chapel not later than 10:30 AM for an 11 AM ceremony.  Interment
immediately following at Arlington National  Columbarium.

Directions to Arlington National Cemetery:

Take I-66  east to Rt. 29 Lee Highway/Spout Run exit. 
At red light, make a right onto  Lee Highway.
At next stop light make a left onto Spout Run.
Spout Run will  merge onto GW parkway.
Continue on GW Parkway approx 2-3 miles.
Look for  Arlington National Cemetery exit. 
After exiting, go to stop sign and make a  left.
Follow to Memorial Gate.
A guard will stop you and direct you to Ft.  Myer Old Post Chapel.
Follow white line all the way to the Chapel.

As  for contributions, in lieu of flowers, we'd prefer that people donate 
in  Tom's name to Capital Hospice, 209 Gibson Street, NW, Suite 202,
Leesburg, VA  20176.
