Ed,
Thank you for distribution of our FREE Garmin G1000 Seminars at Leesburg and
Manassas. We were pleased to sponsor these presentations on Garmin's new all
glass, fully integrated avionics system. Thanks to your distribution to
Leesburg Pilots, we had great turn outs at both AV-ED and Aviation Adventures.
Special thanks to Matt Harrah from Garmin for coming out from Kansas to show
the
local pilots all about this amazing glass cockpit.
The new Flying magazine (Jan '04) and the new AOPA magazine (Jan '04) feature
articles on the Diamond Star and the G1000. The Diamond Star is the first
general Aviation aircraft to receive certification. JYO's own Mid-Atlantic
Diamond (subsidiary of Blue Sky Aviation, Inc) has the distinction of receiving
the
very first G1000 Star. National press releases will note that it will reside
right here at Leesburg Executive Airport. It will be here at Leesburg sometime
in Early April. We plan to host a demonstration/display in Leesburg once it
arrives.
For general reference, Mid-Atlantic Diamond will be making a powerpoint
presentation on our Diamond business as the top performing Diamond distributor
in
the world for three consecutive years at the 1/20/04 Leesburg Airport
Commission meeting.
Here is the url for the AOPA article for anyone interested in more on the
Diamond Star's G1000. Thanks Again Ed please distribute this note.
