April 12, 2004
Ed,

Here is the news release regarding our new flight school activity at the
Winchester Regional Airport. This is, of course, in addition to our
operations at Leesburg. We are starting out with five aircraft: three
fixed gear singles, one Piper Arrow, and one Seneca. Our first Private
Pilot Ground School at Winchester begins April 19th. Would appreciate
having this information disseminated to your e-mail list.

Thanks,
Don Robb

NEWS RELEASE

AV-ED FLIGHT SCHOOL COMES TO WINCHESTER

Donald O. Robb, President of AV-ED Flight School, Inc., Leesburg, and
Lambert J. Brown of Lambert’s Flying Service, Winchester, jointly
announced today the transfer on April 1, 2004 of the latter’s flight
school business located at Winchester Regional Airport to the AV-ED
Flight School, Inc.

Mr. Brown, who has owned and operated his flight training business at
Winchester for three years, says he leaves the flight training business
with regret but with high expectations for a new air charter service,
which he is shortly bringing to the Winchester Airport.

Mr. Robb, who holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy, brings 27 years of
aviation school management experience to the Winchester Airport. His
company operates aviation ground school and aircraft simulator
facilities at Tyson’s Corner and a flight school at the Leesburg
Executive Airport. He says he is delighted with the facilities of the
Winchester Airport and the economic prospects of the Winchester area.
He noted that his Flight School has always emphasized quality in all
aspects of aviation training and he believes excellence in aviation
ground training leads to rapid progress in developing piloting skills.
AV-ED’s first Winchester ground school class for aspiring new pilots
starts April 19th and will meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings. For
more information on ground and flight training at Winchester, call
540-542-1123.
