Redesign

Hello All,

Kevin and I have been continuing to correspond regarding the users request to 
FAA to raise the floor of the Class B airspace over JYO.  As you may be 
aware, the FAA is in the process of evaluating the possibility of redesigning 
the Tri-area Class B airspace.  Recently a draft Environmental Impact 
Statement was released which revealed the redesign alternatives being 
considered and the impacts associated with each.  The FAA has announced they 
are conducting a series of public meetings to discuss the Draft EIS.  As I 
mentioned to Kevin, I believe this redesign process will likely play into the 
request to raise the ceiling over JYO.  At the very least, we should be 
familiar with the options being considered in the event they will impact our 
request.  I am including the Notice of the meetings and the schedule for the 
upcoming month.  I personally will be attending the meeting on April 24th at
the Holiday Inn Capitol.  I hope that you all will take the opportunity to  
attend a meeting to familiarize yourselves with the alternatives being 
proposed.
