Ed,
Yesterday, the website for the newly formed Scott Crossfield Foundation was
launched. As you know, Scott was based at JYO for a while and owned a condo
hangar while I was president of the condo association.
I was asked to design the website by Sally Crossfield Farley, one of Scott's
children. I became aware of his efforts to encourage teachers to promote
aviation and aerospace education while I was acting as co-pilot for him during
the time he had lost his medical. I fully understand Sally's desire to keep
this program going and was pleased to be able to help.
I encourage you and others on your mailing list to go to the website
(_http://scottcrossfieldfoundation.org_ (http://scottcrossfieldfoundation.org)
)
and have a look around. I have a place on the site called "Tell A Story" where
I hope those who have been influenced by Scott will talk about what he meant
to them. There is also some video clips and some limited edition collectible
items for sale in the "On-Line Store".
Thank you.
