Rep. Ganske to introduce aviation security bill with harmful GA provision
Legislation contains Kohl Amendment requiring security screening for GA 
10/31/01 2:50:52 PM ET — AOPA has learned that tomorrow Congressman Greg 
Ganske will introduce the aviation security bill that passed the Senate as an 
alternative to the bill introduced in the House by Chairman Don Young. The 
Senate legislation contains a provision sponsored by Senator Herb Kohl that 
would require the FAA to implement a security program for aircraft weighing 
12,500 pounds or less.
