[JYO] LeesburgPilots Mayoral Support Poll results...

When I sent out in the original e-mail, I stated that the  folks supporting 
Bob Zoldos as Mayor did not have to respond with a "YES",  over 100 did.  There 
are over 350 subscribers to my e-mail list and many  more that only read the 
archives from the _www.LeesburgPilots.com_ (http://www.LeesburgPilots.com)  
web site.
The "No's" added up to be a total of 5 mostly focusing on an issue with a  
flight school at Leesburg.
One person abstained and another 4 needed more information or simply  made a 
comment...  Including the comment that I should keep my nose out of  politics 
and trash the survey/poll.  
A couple of you asked how you could support Bob monetarily as well.   (More

Most e-mails just said YES.  A handful were long  response as shown below.

Dear Ed,
I am an avid supporter of Bob Zoldos. Recently,  when town officials were 
displaying very confusing, degrading  and  haphazard messages to airport 
businesses, I had an opportunity to get to know  Bob on both personal and 
professional 
levels. Bob took a stand on  behalf of airport commerce and facilitated 
clarification, sensibility and  direction toward the value of  the business 
assets 
on the  field.
Bob appreciates the tangible and intangible value  of the airport for the 
town and county residents. Bob  recognizes that the  burden of making the 
airport 
pay for itself needs to  fall on the town, the  airport users and the 
businesses in combination, not a disproportionate  weighting toward business 
and 
users.  I believe as Mayor, Bob Zoldos will  see that the airport is treated as 
a 
huge asset versus the apparent current  view that it  is a playground for the 
privileged and "dead weight" on the  town budget.
Thanks for doing a survey of support for Bob Zoldos. I  am confident that any 
pilot who does his or her homework will recognize Bob as  the best thing on 
the horizon for the future our JYO and Leesburg as a  whole.
