Leesburg Executive Airport Staff and Tenants Temporarily Relocate (their

The Leesburg Executive Airport Stanley F. Caulkins Terminal will be closed 
beginning August 29 as progress continues on the Terminal’s expansion and 
renovation.
Temporary relocations for airport staff and commercial tenants are as follows:
Town of Leesburg and Piedmont Hawthorne staff will be relocated to the 
Piedmont Hawthorne building at 1005 Sycolin Road, Leesburg, 20175. The Piedmont 
Hawthorne Operation Desk will be located at the Piedmont Hawthorne building at 
1005 Sycolin Road, Leesburg, VA 20175;
Av-Ed Flight School will be relocated to a temporary office trailer at the 
base of the Airport’s parking lot, at P.O. Box 1197, Leesburg, VA 20177; and 
Mid-Atlantic Diamond will be relocated to Leesburg Executive Airpark, 750 
Miller Drive, Suite B3, Leesburg, 20175.
The relocations are anticipated for the next six months.
The renovation is a part of a 12-month project to expand and refurbish the 
small, outdated facility by 15,000 square feet. The project will include new 
offices, tenant space, restrooms, and common areas, for what is considered a “
gateway” to the town and economic engine for the community. A potential 
in-facility retail establishment is also desired.
