[JYO] Leesburg Executive Airport Open House - 11-03-07 10am-3pm

JYO will hold an Open House on Saturday the 3rd of November, from 10 -  3.  
All of the flight schools are running specials, and there will be  safety 
seminars in the conference room (reservations required thru the  FAA).  The 
medical 
chopper will be on display, as will our FBO.   Guided tours of the actual 
tarmac where Vice President Cheney stepped will be  held every hour.

OK, I was just kidding about the last one.

If you  are interested in displaying your aircraft, please send an email to 
the Vice  Chair of the Commission, Steve Axeman (saxeman@xxxxxxxxxxx), with 
your N-number,  type aircraft, and any special info.  We're looking for about a 
dozen  aircraft and owners/pilots who would like to camp out in a lawn chair 
and be  advocates for GA to the visiting neighbors.  If you're flying in for 
the 
 seminar, this would be a cool place to park your plane.  

I'll buy  lunch for the pilot of each aircraft.  There is reputedly going to 
be  BBQ.... really, really good  BBQ.
