Re: National Aviation and Space Exploration Wall of Honor

A number of people have contacted me regarding a memorial of some type to
honor John Loignon. In that regard, a fellow pilot directed me to look into
the "Wall of Honor" which is a permanent memorial that will be built at the
new National Air and Space Museum facility at Washington Dulles International
Airport. For a donation, the Museum invites you to place the names of family
members or friends who contributed to aviation on a permanent memorial
dedicated to honor the pioneers of flight.

It is my intention to complete an Honoree Profile for John Loignon and
forward the profile along with whatever funds are collected on his behalf to
the Museum. I encourage anyone interested in participating to please look
over the web site to get a better understanding of exactly what is being
proposed on John's behalf. The web site address is <A
HREF="http://www.nasm.si.edu/nasm/ext/wallofhonor/wall.htm";>
http://www.nasm.si.edu/nasm/ext/wallofhonor/wall.htm</A>.

Please feel free to call either me at AV-ED Flight School, Inc.
(703/777-9252) or, if you prefer, Alan Reichert at home (703/620-9156) if you
have any questions or wish to make a contribution. Alan and I will both be
accepting contributions for this and hope to complete the Honoree Profile and
collection of funds by Labor Day.
