The Leesburg Airport has been chosen as a demo airport for the GBA Hawk 4
Gyroplane. Senators, Law Enforcement and other Government officials have been
out to Leesburg Airport today and will continue through this weekend to see
and ride in the craft pictured below. The general public and pilots are
welcome to come out and see this craft fly as well.
Pilots: use extra caution in the pattern as this aircraft can fly the pattern
at over 100 knots and then stop on a dime.
I saw it takeoff today from midfield in about 100 feet.
