[JYO] Garmin Integrated all glass cockpit G1000 certified DA-40 Delivered!

The first Garmin Integrated all glass cockpit G1000 certified DA-40 was  
delivered today to Mid-Atlantic Diamond at the factory. It is the very first  
aircraft of any make and model to be certified with the G1000!!! 
It will live at JYO and it belongs to Mid-Atlantic  Diamond!!!!! 
FAA certification of the DA40-180 Diamond Star equipped with the Garmin G1000 
 glass flight deck was achieved June25, 2004.

traffic, weather, and engine data on two  large 10.4 inch glass, XGA 
resolution displays; Additionally, the DA40 Diamond  Star configuration offers: 
• A digital audio control system
• Dual  integrated avionics systems that provide WAAS-capable IFR GPS; VHF 
navigation  with ILS; and VHF communication with 16-watt tranceivers and 
8.33-kHz channel  spacing
• Mode-S transponder with Traffic Information System
• Solid state  Attitude Heading and Reference System (AHRS)
• Digital air data computer
•  Weather and terrain data
• Interface to the Bendix/King KAP 140 2-axis  Autopilot
