I wanted to you to have the information on the final vote regarding the  
aircraft tax.  Sorry for my delayed response to your question.   

The Board of Supervisors approved the recommendation of the  
Finance/Government Services and Operations Committee to state its intent to  
adopt a $0.01 per 
$100 tax rate for aircraft and flight simulators for tax  year 2009, as part 
of the FY 10 budget (this maintains the current  status).
 
Supervisor Delgaudio moved a friendly amendment that the Board of  
Supervisors state its intent to adopt a $0.25 per $100 tax rate for aircraft  
and flight 
simulators for tax year 2009 as part of the FY10 budget. (This  motion died 
due to a lack of second.)
