Your JYO list members might be interested to know that Heritage High
School,
which is right across the Greenway from JYO, has one of those realtime
weather stations that Bob Ryan is always hyping on his weather show.  You
can get a wind read out from it updated every few seconds:

It appears to be pretty close to what the AWOS reports...interesting to
watch it this very windy day.
