Hello, 

I have created a way for wireless devices with email capabilities to 
get METAR, TAF, Tail Number Registration and Distance calculation via 
email. These devices include Blackberry, Motorola T900, Palm VII and 
the like. By simply sending a email to avhay@xxxxxxxxx you can get 
all of the information above plus! Follow the examples below to get 
the information you seek. This is for simple email clients. Microsoft 
Outlook and Outlook express will not work. 

The body of the email you send to avhay@xxxxxxxxx will contain an 
action letter (M for METAR,F for TAF,T for tail number or D for 
distance between two points) a period, then what ident you would 
information on, ended with a period. Please 
note, a period at the end of the request is required. 

Email Body Exmaples; 

METAR = m.teb. This will email back the current metar for Teterboro 

TAF = f.jfk. This will email back the current TAF for JFK 

Tail Numbers = t.801mb. This will email back registration info for 
801mb. 

And for you charter guys who need to quote a trip, 

Distance = d.teb.lax.380. This will email back distance between TEB 
and LAX (Great Circle) and ETE @ 380 knots, no wind.
