[JYO] Fly Into Dulles ! ! ! Dulles Day September 8th

GA pilots and their aircraft are invited to display their aircraft, meet the
public, and extol the virtues of General Aviation while supporting a great
cause - Special Olympics - on September 6, 2008 beginning at 8:00 am.
In this age of possible user fees and increasing security regulations, we need
all the good publicity we can get.  Public outreach and charitable
organizations are specifically encouraged to attend.

Pilots can register their aircraft by sending an email to the General Aviation
Coordinator, Dennis Boykin, at
boykin UNDERSCORE dennis AT yahoo DOT com
Send your aircraft type, N number, and your contact information in an email,
and we'll email confirmation in return.

Dulles International Airport lies within the Washington ADIZ, so please plan
accordingly. ATC will be aware of the arrival schedule. You’ll need to arrive
between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. local time. You'll have a great time until
approximately 4 p.m. Early departures can be coordinated, but if you can stay
until 4 it's much appreciated.

Here are just some of the reasons you want to do this:
    1. FREE landing and parking fees. You can't beat that price, plus it's
FUN!!
    2. And, you get a great Plane Pull T-shirt for the PIC.
    3. A few lucky pilots will receive free oil changes and a free pitot-static
and transponder check from participating vendors (in the process of being
finalized)

Sign up now, and you'll be glad you did. It's for a great cause, plus you can
put IAD in your logbook with no fees.
