FAA TO ESTABLISH TFRs OVER HAGERSTOWN AND CAMP DAVID
Pilots flying in the Mid-Atlantic area are cautioned that there will
be a temporary flight restriction (TFR) over Hagerstown, Maryland,
tomorrow, April 2. Also, the TFR area centered on Prohibited Area P-40,
the presidential retreat at Camp David, Maryland, will grow larger for
the weekend.
In Hagerstown, there will be a 10-nautical-mile-radius TFR centered on
Hagerstown Regional-Richard A. Henson Field (HGR). General aviation
will be prohibited from 8:40 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. local on Friday.
The Camp David TFR, meanwhile, will extend to a 10-nm radius below
18,000 feet beginning at 8:40 p.m. local on Friday and continue
through 1 p.m. local on Sunday, April 4.
