FAA TO ESTABLISH TFR OVER EASTON ON SATURDAY
AOPA is sending this message to advise pilots in Easton, Maryland, that
the FAA has issued a notam restricting flight in the state for Vice
President Cheney's visit there tomorrow, November 22.

The 3-nautical-mile temporary flight restriction (TFR) will be centered
on the OTT VOR's 89-degree radial at 32.1 miles below 3,000 feet agl.
It will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 9:50 p.m. local time on Saturday,
prohibiting flight and affecting operations at Easton/Newnam Field
(ESN). See AOPA Online for the full text of the notam
( http://www.aopa.org/whatsnew/notams.html#3/1199 ).

"This TFR temporarily closes Easton Airport but it also has the
potential to affect aircraft arriving or departing Bay Bridge or
Kentmorr airports. It is vital for pilots to pay close attention if they
plan on flying to any of these destinations tomorrow evening," said
Melissa Bailey, AOPA vice president of regulatory affairs.

AOPA also cautions pilots that there is another similar sized TFR
currently over Trappe, Maryland, that continues through 6:20 p.m. local
Saturday. See the full text

Because TFR airspace frequently changes, AOPA strongly encourages
pilots to obtain a briefing and CHECK NOTAMS before every flight.
TFR violators will be intercepted and forced to land.
