FAA TO ESTABLISH TFR OVER ANNAPOLIS ON FRIDAY
AOPA is sending this message to advise pilots in and near Annapolis,
Maryland, that the FAA has issued a notam restricting flight in the
area during President Bush's planned visit on Friday, May 27.
There will be a 30-nautical-mile-radius temporary flight restriction
(TFR) centered on the BAL VOR's 158-degree radial at 13.3 miles,
extending up to Flight Level 180. It will be in effect from 9 a.m.
local until 1:20 p.m. local on Friday. Also, there will be a smaller
10-nm-radius GA no-fly zone in effect during that time frame. See
AOPA Online for the full text of the notam and a graphic
( http://www.aopa.org/whatsnew/notams.html#5/4166 ).
This notam supercedes the Washington, D.C., Air Defense Identification
Zone (ADIZ) cutout procedures for Kentmorr Airpark (3W3) and Bay Bridge
Airport (W29).
The affected landing facilities are Lee (ANP), Kentmorr Airpark (3W3),
Bay Bridge (W29), Freeway (W00), Tipton (FME), Baltimore-Washington
