[JYO] FAA Sounding Board "What are your complex questions related to logging time?"

Hello again!  I don't expect the pace of these information requests to stay
as high, but for right now, FAA's very interested in lots of topics.

Tonight's question could result in a plain-language update to the regs about
logging time:  what are some examples of complex questions related to
logging time (e.g., during a practice IFR flight, does the safety pilot log
PIC time?).  I encouraged them to develop a simple table, with the first
pilot's certificates down the side and the second pilot's across the top,
and explain who logs what in each intersection.  They think they've got most
of it down, but want to know some example questions.

Also..  instead of everyone writing back to me directly to compile, please 
POST your response on the LeesburgPilots.com message boards.  This will be a 
little easier for me to compile from.
