[JYO] FAA CHANGES ACTIVE TIMES FOR NORTH CAROLINA TFRs WEDNESDAY

FAA CHANGES ACTIVE TIMES FOR NORTH CAROLINA TFRs WEDNESDAY
AOPA is sending this message to advise pilots in and near eastern North
Carolina that the FAA has changed the active times for the flight
restrictions regarding President Bush's visit to the centennial of
powered flight commemoration tomorrow, December 17.

The active times for the Elizabeth City, North Carolina, temporary
flight restriction (TFR) are now 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. local and again
from 10:50 a.m. to noon local. See AOPA Online for the full text of the
new notam ( http://www.aopa.org/whatsnew/notams.html#3/1832 ). The Kill
Devil Hills TFR will be in effect from 7 a.m. to noon local. See the
new notam ( http://www.aopa.org/whatsnew/notams.html#3/1835 ).

Because TFR airspace frequently changes, AOPA strongly encourages
pilots to obtain a briefing and CHECK NOTAMS before every flight.
TFR violators will be intercepted and forced to land.
