"I had no intention in casting any aspersions on anyone in the flying 
community by relating my story and mentioning a particular aircraft tail 
number. I 
just wanted to point out that deer present a real hazard to the operations of 
the airport even if you are simply doing pattern work. As shown by my 
experience, one cannot count on the deer staying away from the runway even if 
there is a 
decent level of activity."
