I've been operating a Flying Club at JYO for 8 years using a 1991 Grumman
Tiger. We are in Hangar A-4.
I am contemplating upgrading the club to a 2004/5 Sr-22 G2.
If anyone is interested please contact me. I'm not committing to the concept
unless I get at least 3 serious pilots.
The club would have a maximum of 5 pilots
The rough costs would be:
$450/mo./fixed fee for our hangar/insurance/interest on the loan
$80/hr/dry operational cost
$2000 refundable security deposit
There would be a commitment contract to be in the club for at least 6
months/ with 3 months notice to leave
An instrument rating is required
Required checkout specified by our insurance.
For that you get the airplane for 5 days/nights/mo - extra nights available
for flexibility at prorated fixed costs.
I contemplate the airplane having Deice/TCAS/ and possibly O2
