[JYO] Airport director named

Airport  director named: The Town of Leesburg has announced that Tim Deike 
will take over  as airport director for Leesburg Executive Airport Feb. 20, 
according to  Kathleen Leidich, assistant to the town manager. Deike holds 
bachelor's and  master's degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and 
holds  
certifications of Accredited Airport Executive and Certified Airport 
Executive,  Leidich said. He is currently the manager of Hickory Regional 
Airport in 
North  Carolina. 

âTim brings  solid credentials and a high level of enthusiasm to the airport 
director  position, said Town Manager John Wells. âHe will be an excellent 
director and an  effective member of the Town's Management Team.â

Dieike brings nine years  of airport management experience to Leesburg along 
with a successful 20-year  career with the United States Air Force, said 
Leidich.
