[JYO] Airport Director Selection Process for Leesburg Executive Airport

Dear Mr. Noe:

As you may be aware, I have over 300 people (including you) on my LeesburgPilots.com e-mail list and even more that use the LeesburgPilots.com web page. 

A couple of pilots brought to my attention that they "heard" that the selection of the new Leesburg Airport director rests entirely within your office without input from the Leesburg Pilot Community, Leesburg Airport Based businesses or even the Leesburg Airport Commission.

I would suggest that both the airport commission and a team of pilots that use the airport on a regular basis be included in the final decision to best serve the pilots, the airport bases businesses, the airport and the needs of the local community.

If you would like, I would be more than happy to assist you in selecting/setting up a pilot user group to assist in the final selection.
