Leesburg Pilots...If you would like to have a choice in Flight Schools at the Leesburg Airport, you have the opportunity to make your voice heard.  As you may know, Aviation Adventures is very close to opening a Flight School at Leesburg.  We will provide the Leesburg Pilot Community with a greater choice of well-equipped and maintained aircraft, friendly experienced instructors, a Pilot Shop, Ground Schools on the field, a fun, club-like atmosphere, competition and most of all... A CHOICE.  A very small group of people would like for you to not have a choice.  They have taken actions with the Leesburg Town Council to delay the final approval.  The Town Council will discuss final approval on Monday the 24th and will be able to vote on the 25th, instead of delaying it again until mid-December.  I am assembling comments from pilots who would like a choice that will go directly to the Mayor and the members of the Town Council.  We would appreciate your support by sending me your comments via e-mail no later than noon on the 24th.  If you would like to attend the Town Council meeting, it will be at 7 PM at the Town Hall at 25 Market Street, Leesburg.
