Dear Pilots -
Friend and Leesburg Pilot Ray Comley built a beautiful Lancair 360 and flew
it in the local area. You may have seen it at Leesburg (near George Smith's
hangar) or in Manassas.
Well Ray is 80 years old now.. and has decided to sell his baby. He showed
it to a prospective buyer at Manassas a couple of weeks ago.. got distracted,
and had the smoothest gear up landing you'd ever see.
He is disheartened and no longer has the time or energy to get things going
again. Personally, I am told it is not that much to do. The prop can be
overhauled and the engine torn down and crank shaft checked/x-rayed.
Before trying e-mail, trade-a-plane, aero trader, I was asked if there was a
local pilot that might be interested in Ray's airplane. The body of the plane
has only minor damage on the belly.
Please consider making Ray an offer by calling him at 703-960-6389 or on his
cell at 703-409-2008.

Thanks,
Ed
